Alley Theatre Resident Acting Company Member
Todd Waite is in his 19th season as a Resident Acting Company Member. Recently seen in The Winter’s Tale, The Three Musketeers, Twelfth Night, Holmes and Watson (Sherlock), and Describe the Night (2018 Obie Award for Best New Play), he has appeared in over 95 Alley productions including eight Christmas seasons of the one-man show The Santaland Diaries. Mr. Waite spent six seasons with the Shaw Theatre Festival, played Enjolras in the Canadian premiere of Les Misérables and guest-starred on major U.S. and Canadian networks. He was the resident director for Cirque du Soleil’s ‘O’ in Las Vegas, Artistic Advisor to the 2015 European Games Closing Ceremonies in Baku, and is the Creative Director of Bayou Bend’s Christmas experience. Mr. Waite contributes to The International Baccalaureate Theory of Knowledge textbook (Oxford Press) and received the Presidential Young Arts Award for Acting Teachers, for his private acting coaching.
